New! Australia's Telecom Infrastructure Atlas November 2009

Telco Atlas 09

This publication comes in the form of a presentation-style report. This report contains 341 maps of backhaul fibre, microwave, DSLAMs and Fixed Wireless Broadband infrastructure from Market Clarity’s extensive Telecoms Infrastructure Database (IDB) covering national, state, and capital city inner and outer metro areas.

The Australian Telecom Infrastructure Atlas 2009 is delivered in Adobe PDF-format. Each map within the Atlas is provided in Medium Resolution format (approximately 1280 x 800 pixels), with telecom infrastructure overlaid on population density or street maps.

Market Clarity is also able to produce telecommunications infrastructure maps for purchase. These maps are designed to help service providers, policy makers and enterprise organisations identify telecommunications infrastructure across a variety of technologies in metro and regional locations.

The Telecommunications Business Intelligence Service (TBIS) combines Market Clarity’s extensive service provider, telecoms infrastructure and forecasting databases, along with our overall market intelligence into a one-stop shop to support infrastructure investment decisions. We’ve built a comprehensive and constantly-updated database of infrastructure locations, covering DSL, access and long-haul fibre, fixed wireless broadband, 2G and 3G cellular mobile, HFC and microwave networks.

Market Clarity Presentation Report - The Importance of Backhaul

Market Clarity has just released a new research report examining the importance of the deployment of large-scale competitive backhaul in Australia, using connectivity to Broken Hill (NSW) as an example. The report also examines three (3) current road projects, in relation to existing fibre backhaul and the incremental costs of adding conduits and/or fibre as part of the overall civil engineering project. Market Clarity presented this report at the Informa Broadband Australia conference in June 2009.
